For sure, all those monuments, architecture and good food engage people, but if we ask more than 80% will answer they come because Barcelona always, to be exact 360 days a year has a fantastic weather.

Beautiful beaches: the locals choice

1. Sitges

Where is it? Carrer Port de n’Alegre, s/n, Sitges

Firstly, we are going to Sitges, a small but cozy, this village attracts a lot of tourists every year and during all the year. Sant Sebastià beach is small but familiar beach between the Old Town and a sport port of Sitges.  About 200 meters of sand where during the summer you can take a sunbath or have a dinner with breathtaking views of one of the restaurants situated at San Sebastià beach.

2. Garraf

Where is it? Carrer Mirador del Port, Garraf

If you like beaches out of civilization Garraf is that place. With 380 meters length this beach has the only one restaurant and some wooden houses old fishermen used to store their utensils. Staying in Garraf you also could visit one of Gaudi’s buildings, situated behind the beach and railway station.

3. Mataró

Where is it? Avinguda del Maresme, Mataró

In the opposite side of Sitges going to Costa Brava direction, you can visit Sant Simó beach situated in the north of Mataró. This beach is much longer and counts 1.100 meters long. Sant Simó beach has all kind of services, restaurants, parking and it will be interesting for you if you like snorkeling.
